Musical Theatre at Academy Arts gives young performers the chance to develop all three disciplines — singing, dancing and acting — in one exciting class. Through musical theatre repertoire, character work, choreography, vocal training and performance, students develop their individuality and become confident, versatile performers.

Our Musical Theatre classes bring all three areas together, helping students develop their voices, acting skills, movement, stage presence and ability to perform as part of an ensemble. Classes are fun, creative and supportive, while still giving students strong training and plenty to work towards.

Students also get exciting opportunities to put their training into practice through shows and performances, including taking part in a full-scale musical production and experiencing what it’s like to work together as a cast.

Whether your child simply loves to sing, dance and act or dreams of performing professionally one day, Musical Theatre gives them a place to explore all three and discover what they’re capable of.

Our Musical Theatre classes are for ages 6–17 and take place every Tuesday at St Paul’s Centre in Port Talbot.
