Ebony is a highly accomplished street dance artist and teacher with over 15 years of professional experience in popping, robot, and animation. Based in Wales, they are among the few dancers in the UK to have trained directly under the original creators and pioneers of these styles. Mentored by Mr. Wiggles of the Electric Boogaloos since the age of 15, Ebony is currently training under world-renowned robot and animation specialist Jaja Vankova.

 

Their dedication to excellence has led them to train extensively across international dance hubs including Paris and Los Angeles. Ebony is a proud member of Rossum’s Universal Robot Alliance (RUR) and has trained with legendary figures such as Popin’ Pete, Boppin Andre, and members of the Elite Force Crew.

 

Their competitive achievements include winning the Worldwide Female Funky Robot Battle 2024, HHI UK Popping Battle 2024, and placing 2nd at the Unimate “Test Your Technique” Battle in Los Angeles, as well as reaching Top 16 at the Paris Animation Week Robot Battle. Ebony continues to compete at the highest level internationally, contributing to and preserving the legacy of popping, robot, and animation within the global street dance community.
